Agent Obligation
Agents being held to a higher standard must make the extra effort to ensure the customer is well informed.
(a) Agents are required to respond to request in as timely manner.
(b) Agents should promptly provide proposals, follow up and status changes in a timely manner in accordance with governing bodies and laws.
(c) Agents should never engage in misleading, trickery, misrepresentation or other practices that might otherwise change the outcome of consumers’ decisions.
(d) When providing information or communication ensure it is in plain and easy to understand language.
(e) Disclose all the facts and ensure the consumer understands who you represent. |
